Does London ever get snow moth please? or does it just melt cause it's all busy streets and it doesn't get a chance to lie.

once a year it snows here.
i need to save my pennies and get a proper winter duvet 1700 tog pterodactyl down or something.
it's not the cold, mate, it's the humidity.

yer no wrong para.
Embra 5 degrees celcius is way colder than Zürich at minus 10...

eh, hey. everyone here is always givin' me the 'wayup, mountain lassie, surely you're accostomed to the cold.'
correction: i am accostomed to bright, freezing winter days atop velvety snow-capped peaks where you can see for miles and miles and the gods have the decency to forbid cloud cover during the day.
sure, your snot freezes, but it's not like this creeping damp that sneaks through your windows at night like some sort of ravaging bogman to take hold of your marrow and, thereby, your soul.

best description ever.
- paraselene0
aw, was that for me, luv?
even though i can't spell accustomed?
ta!
- kelpie0
I've lost a good deal of soul/marrow over the last few days, I empafize (sp) you see...

Pussies, I have been out in -18 yo! now that WAS cold up north one year with my pops, rope froze and stiff clothes, but the climbing was excellent proper good frozen snow, actually nicer to stick an axe into than ice as it kind of grips it better, mind you I also like banging my axes into frozen turf same effect. Man I'm pretty geeky about climbing.
Hiya freinds.
- kelpie0
chossy were you in Cliffhanger please?
- paraselene0
that's what i'm saying, chossy!
good morning, btw and i'm all loved up on gooseberry jam! yay!
i prefer super super cold and altitudinous etcetera to the damp index.

sorry, I don't find much to love in either freezing my crisp or soggy bollocks off ;)
