Add over sized eyes, shrink the nose and mouth.
that seems like thats what these guys are doing but i think manga style is more than just that.
they seem to fail in modeifying lines that complements the lines on rest of the body.
maybe they should look in to more 3d images of manga before super imposing or using photoshop to make the eyes bigger
