alright, i guess no one else is into this stuff like i am, but i'll give a quick re-cap of the last few hours anyways...

miles went with the video phone, pft, i mean, he's more gonzo, but also the quality isn't there. he's just fighting it in the open and looking great all pixelated. he has now upgraded to a regular beta cam, in Lumberton, still standing out in it, such a pansy in comparison, but he's floundering for some cred. and i like it. props.

rob got relegated to the off cam job here at the end. he was on cam earlier, but he got waaay too excited about it all and classically made a fool of himself by just rambling on about nothing, (i heart Rob). so he got relegated to off cam and tactical reports once his "big brother" anderson rolled into his location, THE location in Beaumont.

BTW, Rob did it once again, this is 4 or 5 'canes in a row he has been THE guy who has predicted THE best point for effects. he is genius, truly a gifted meteorologist. and he's attractive, so that's why he got on camera for the first time last year, but he can't handle the spotlight at all. so funny to watch him with his "cool man" and "right on" comments. regardless, dude is gifted, truly "knowing" storms.

anderson is now the man on the scene, he rolled into Beaumont (Rob's location) with his totally crazy version of seriousness. taking the winds and rain blasts like the champ he is. he was just smiling so big while Rob was phoning in his report, either laughing like i am @ rob or just happy his little protogé was doing so well. hehe. anyways, the king is in the house on this one. anderson = awesome.

on top of all this, max has finally stepped up huge and may come away from all this as the biggest winner. from the control room in Atlanta, dude is totally cool, so smooth and so fresh after like 5 hours solid. unflappable. so on point with his figures. he is living it too, just living it in his $2500 suit with the dopler. not one mistake, a few generous predictions, but no fear mongering at all. dude is a hero for reals.

all in all. miles stepped up (finally), rob got too giddy (duh), anderson took control (predicted), and max kept it real.

thanks guys for a great evening!

This happened about 3 minutes ago...

CNN anchor: What percentage of the population have evacuated out of the city?

City Official: Uhm, about 90 to 95%.

CNN anchor: And what percentage of the population stayed in the city?

    yes, you understand it!

this is classic comedy, i mean, rob, anderson, miles, max...and then add a few "straight men" as talking heads, this is a classic comedy team.

we haven't seen/heard stuff like this since Jack Benny.

    "Rochester!"

also, my bad earlier, referring to "Max"...i meant Chad. chad is the man on the radar kicking ass and taking names.

    sorry about that.
