adobe cs2 + apple keyboard

    I just installed adobe creative suite 2 premium on my mac, but can't seem to use the usual keyboard shortcut keys such as apple+space for zoom, or hold down shift to draw proportional shapes in illustrator. The hand drag function when holding down spacebar seems to have disappeared too. This applies for all CS2 products – photoshop, acrobat, indesign etc. I am running TIGER and as far as I know, I haven't done any changes to the keyboard settings on the os, anyone shed any light?
