How is it possible to select a existing name for a file you are saving? (For example, when saving a postscript file from illy, how is it possible to select the name of the ai file for the ps file, not typing the file name in manually...)
on OSX 10.2.8
?

what are you talking about? If I have a new file (Untitled) and want to name it one that already exist- rocker.pdf - I just find that file and select it and it names it that-
ever since OS 9 let alone 10.2
maybe I am missing what you are trying to do here.

yeah should work.. just click the filename in the window, even when it is grayed out and the name will change..
