Greetings all...
My question concerns how I would go about making a small animation in Flash in which a piece of torn paper peels back to reveal a layer below?
Could anyone offer any suggestions of how this could be done?
It would be much appreciated.

rip some paper in real life to see how that looks first. paper doesn't really exist on computers you know?

like the 55dsl ad on the left here?

Yep... pretty much like that... the only differences being...
1. That it'll rip from the bottom
right edge upwards and to
the left, and
2. The paper's edges are frayed
torn a bit... as if it was ripped
off of a larger sheet.

it';ll have to be frame by frame animation which wouldn't be to hard...
Let me think....

I was thinkin it would have to be a keyframe animation alright...
it would be nice to make it as smooth as the 55DSL sticker over on the left though...I reckon the tearing away of the paper will only need to be about 12 frames/1 second long anyways but I thought someone might've found a better way...
