i think it's cool how video game graphics have just reached their absolute highest level. the processing and rendering power of the ps3 is so amazing it's just stupid. no game will ever max it out.
humans are the weakest link now...

foo, it's not actual gameplay. hopefully it'll look that good when it comes out but vid game companies tend to prerender for hype's sake.

Remember when xbox launched and they had an incredible demo of some bionic chick dancing with a robot- none of the games ended up looking nearly as good as that. They always lie.
If it takes blur studios a year to make a cinematic, then no game company is going to be able to make a whole game that detailed in a normal dev cycle.

yes, it's all running on the hardware using the graphics engine.
it is not pre-rendered (except for the bonus stuff at the end) at all.
it's an fmv, so gameplay looks EXACTLY like that.

i am not in shoot em ups.. but i just checked the racing games, the ps3 trailers and i fell right out of my chair.
if this is for real i may just get my first playstation ever when it's released!!

especially the amount of detail and realism in dynamics in the F1 trailer blew me away..
