i was in nyc for semi perm and i went to a decent hr giger show at art @ large they have some amazing work for sale on the site i myself bought a older limited edition litho from 1965.

his work for Alien is still basically the standard. It's become such and icon despite it's complexity. He's amazing.

it's hard not to love bio-mechanical art and, like dopepope said, giger set the bar on that.

I picked up a book in Tokyo a while back called 'Biomechanical' or something. It had Giger and a few other artists that did similar work. It was a great reference for this type of artwork. I love it.
