Actually I was trying to find out how comes the Nazi’s took over the term Aryan from the central Asian peoples, to mean Nordic white people, and I came across this chap (Madison Grant) and figured out how the racist Right reinvented itself under Reaganism and appropriated the terms “freedom” and “democracy” etc... after the economic failures of the left (if you can call them that) in the United States. Quite fascinating.

It’s all linked you know, the European/North American Right and 19th century/early 20th century ideas of eugenics, racism, social Darwinism etc. Their economic theories are derived from it until this day.
