This is just an observation that I'm sure in general is a no-brainer... so I'm not trying to sound smart... nor am I trying to start shit. :)
I clicked on 13 sites on their list... everything gorgeous...
... but everything was flash-based. I think one of the sites had a bit of content in formatted w/css dhtml - but it's main content and interactivity was all in flash.
Does this mean that flash is finally acceptable? I'm thinking back - not even so much as of a year.. and I still recall comments from people during critiques or discussions asking 'why did you use flash?'.
It just appears to me that flash is becoming very acceptable - and is being used to handle data in ways you really 'don't need flash' to do what you want to do... and yet - it's been done and vastly heralded.
I'm a flash fanatic... and am glad that this 'acceptance' seems to be more vast.

our studio does everything in flash unless we are told otherwise... and even then we fight for it to be flash.

what do you guys think. Any stand out? Any that you thought should be in, but arnt? Any that should not be in there.
Do you guys find that Com Arts plays it safe, or pics certain designs?
I had a flick through this issue, and I was not overly impressed. Going to take a closer look though.
one.

some good stuff in there but it's all been around for ages.
that forest forever site is well over a year old.
problem with this type of comp is that it doesn't produce anything new it only shows us what we have all seen before
