thought about using it, however after looking into it, I found out that unless you are using a pc and doing Google Talk to Google Talk, you can't use the talk feature. So I have yet another glorified messenger program... all this after I bought a headset cuz a buddy of mine got me all hyped about Google Talk before I read up on it. So now I have an account with Skype. It's free and has a really easy interface, and yes, has regular messaging feature as well.

I really like it because of its simplicity.
It's sort of annoying to have all these different instant messenging systems though, so MSN is what I resort to when having to login to just one thing.

Heh, I have one person I talk to on it ... and have on it.
AIM though laim (like that joke) will be hard for me to get rid of ever seemingly.

I've got it, but it doesn't seem any better than iChat.

SKYPE
Can you call anyone or can you only talk to other ppl that have Skype?
- madirish0
if you purchase SkypeOut credit (min $10 or €10) you can call anywhere in the world.
This is unmatched as the raddest app ever built. the rates are so cheap it is insane and the quality is the best phone connection i have ever had.

how much do they charge per minute?

hey Vanessa, I couldn't stop laughing at that username thing you had for MSN last week. What was it, "nuh nuh nuh fuh fuh" or something. I'm not sure why it was funny, but it most definitely was.
