So it's cool to be a trend whore and follow in the footsteps of the "stars" but it's not cool to create your own wares and sell them, am I reading this correctly?

I think people are just getting bored of all the selection. All these 'unique' designs cluster and begin to look stale.
If you have t designs left in you, let them out. but people will always get bored of a trend. Only thing is, t's and t's with graphics aren't a trend. They will always be around. Without a doubt.

I agree they will always be around, you just gotta treat it like music and look past the garbage and find the dope ish, and natalie portman's cutee and all but just cause she and her peers wear a shirt dont mean it's hot to me, maybe to a toy, trend-whore but not I.

Yeah, I find it quite funny how now its not cool they are saying they dont want to make Ts. People should make Ts regardless of how bord other people are with them.

depends on what quality tee you're talking about. The better tee cost the dime

You'll get bored of the onslaught of design T's. so you go minimal, wear white, solids, then get bored and look for a cool T no one has, then you get bored of the selection so you go back to solids, and so on. It doesn't stop.

I'm thinking of cutting off my upper body and just rocking legs..
- JazX0
it's true dopepope, I wear mostly solids and some patterns on dress shirts, all this trendy mumbo jumbo is for kiddies
- dopepope0
yeah. but as a T guy, I design T's not to be trendy, but to just have a dope ass T to wear. Even in the midst of all these T's in your face, one will always stand out for some reason and you just gotta have it. Those are the ones I try to create. I know those are the one's I usually buy.

i dont get it, is he saying the 'trunk' tees are good ?
they are $95 good.
like dopeP said, screened tees have been around for ever tho :S

I love graphic tee's but they are defo's become more commercial. But like someone said before you just gotta be more selective in your purchases. I personaly am getting in to typo tees think they look awesome. I've just set up an online tee collective with designs from some cool illustrators, check it out let me know what you think http://www.generichype.co.uk .Any submissions would be cool.

think of it this way
A t-shirt is a a far less painfull than a tattoo.

...and disposable
- rockonski0
he's right about the trucker caps though.
- dopepope0
are trucker hats still 'in'? They are way more 'trendy' than a graphic T.

(Sep 8 05, 14:54)psh, the only person i'll respect with a trucker cap are truckers and skateboard p.
graphic tees ain't a trend. it's a staple. like socks.
