I've never quite understood what the average goth person stands for. Does he/she like the devil? That's it?

the average goth paradigm is in line with hedonism and rejection of society's status quo. these are kids discovering for the first time how bullshit everything on t.v. and the media is, how everyone's values are backward, and take on rejecting it full-time
the devil only factors into it because though most goths don't believe such an entity exists, he serves as a symbol they can use to offend christers, who embody most of the bullshit they reject
luckily goth is just a high school thing

the skinny (hot) ones do it because the counterculture image is more appealing to them. a lot of them are dancers, clothing designers, etc. and really cool people

a girl from south america i used to know had this crazy obsession with "real" goths..
she told me a lot about it, she wasn't goth at all though.
but the "high fashion goth clubs" (if i may call them this) are actually filled with people who take a lot of care of their appearance.. so apart from craxy ugly highschool kiddos, goths can be really amazing.

Oh, I went all the way with "Lunchbox". She was hot, seriously. I had no idea why she liked me so much cuz we were nothing alike, but she was cool. I never shagged her on my lunch hour, but it was a crazy2 weeks. It all started with this concersation we had at a party at my townhouse after a foodtball game we won:
lunchbox: "What's wrong?"
