For the past few weeks, work has been hitting the high mark on the stress meter.
They, as in the powers of corporate honcho highness, are starting to give me more and more responsibility -- which is good for the resume, but I'm not getting compensated.
I have a sneaking suspicion they are taking advantage, because they were supposed to fill the Senior Graphic Designer position over 3 months ago, but never did, and now they never will because the President decided that we don't need one.Now who is getting all the extra work? ME! I do almost EVERYTHING... and I'm getting a little burnt out.
Phew... Ranting makes me feel better!

address the situation with your boss or leave. threaten them that you are thinking of taking another job or give more money, etc.

Haha, you guys make me laugh ^^
I mean, I know, rationally speaking, that it will help me "climb the ladder", but... every department is directed to my desk with requests. My boss definitely has an eye, but he has almost no computer skills, so everything that goes his way is always sent to me... sigh...
ipod nano! yay! apple comes up with the cutest stuff... the phone for cingular though... its a little too chunky

It won't help you climb the ladder unless you push for some real compensation.
If you get f'd over now, they'll fill the senior designer position one day and you'll still be f'd.

How would you go about doing that? I suppose I am a little ackward because Ive only been out of school a little over a year... derrr
