< in refrence to Jkristfers post... in QBN.
i own a heap of silkscreens. and i love making shirts, i definitly own some great threadless purchases as well. but i have to agree. I am feeling a little over it, the something special about designy shirts is kind of lost now that everyone is doing it, and that there are so many doing a cliche job of it. a blank t-shirt these days is so refreshing. or no shirt. =)...whatever.im looking forward to the death of it. and 20 years from now when im in my mid fourties working in art barn somewhere, seeing something new and orignial coming up fresh.

i concur.
i am about to burn every single "clever" tshirt i see

agreed. plain whit tee, is the way to go. i hate thw whole limited edition tshirt for $90 too. like, hey you're paying $90 for a freaking teeshirt. that's not right.

i like embroidery on t-shirts. it's way way cooler than silkscreening!
- anzelina0
leah i agree.
embroidery is the new black, er, i mean, silkscreen.
i've been adding some threads stuff to tees i already have.
i have some other awesome ideas but i can't post them here cause someone will steal my million dollar idea!

i would also like to do away with pink polos on men with the collar up and the front tucked into their extremely large belt while wearing sunglasses indoors at night.

Bizarre. I just created a similiar thread, even addressed to jkristofer also. Weird...

hehehe anzelina is your million dollar idea to start a website called "threadful.com" and people submit embroidery designs for t-shirts?
:P

I hate the colar up on a polo look. It's so tacky.

with winter just around the corner, maybe i can interest you in granny's super hip crochet sweaters. i use only the top quality yarn in the colors those damn kids like so much
- JazX0
American Eagle is to blame for those damn pink 80's collar up BS
GODDAWEFUL style

you can still buy plain t shirts in most stores, can't you? My drawers are full of plain tees with nary a graphic in sight

collar up is only good when you are COLD and have nothing else to put on. the sense of utility in fashion has been distorted to serve what might look neat...just to add more options to the wardrobe. its sickening. i work in a fashion agency and listening to the creatives concept about a "cool and beautiful elegant or whatever" way to do something...its insane the combinations they come up with. totally gratuidus and useless in everyday life. but i guess makes for great campaign images...

when i see suit jackets with silkscreens on them i always think of that dirt bag kevin federline....

(Sep 8 05, 07:33)Right f-ing on.
I saw that dude in the grocery store a few weeks ago exactly as you described. In addition, he was rocking the mullet and the faux hawk. I don't care what magazine it is in ... the mullet will never be cool. Anyway, I punched him in the throat.

go to foot locker and buy blank t-shirts 5 for 20 bucks.
so, no more screen printing on t-shirts at all? Even though people have been printing on shirts since the sixties?
OK, if that is the case, no more using helvetica.
Sounds kinda sily doesn't it?
