being born and raised there but since i've lived abroad, i've actually done (and recieved) the same question:
what do you know about chile?
the answer usually is the same:
- pinochet.
- passion.
- hot dance and music.the thing is that i've realised that many europeans concieve latin america as a continent of severe and hard dictatoriships and passionate and intense lovers. like if we all go in the streets with a guitar in one hand, a rose or a book in the other and we hug each other in the streets.
in some aspects it's true, though.
