I Tunes Question

  I have a big firewire drive with lots of music, and I don't want to copy them to my computer.

  Is there a way to have the mp3's listed on my itunes list, and play them through firewire?

  I think you can change a setting in iTunes telling it NOT to copy the files to the iTunes music folder, that way the tracks will be linked to your other drive and not the music folder like they usually are... Just a tick box in options or preferences. G

  under advanced preferences you can set your music folder..i have mine on a firewire drive as well. itunes keeps it nice and organized. just make sure your drive is on when you launch itunes.
