Not a bad site for personal pics.
As far as a site dedicated to Hong Kong Photography, the pics look like they were quick snaps with a point and shoot. I'd like to see better quality pics.

It's not a site dedicated to any old HK photography - this is my hong kong - the places I go, the places I've been - and yeah a lot of them were taken with a point and shoot, but I honestly couldn't give a fuck.

i'd say find another way to display your secondary navigation. making those first level buttons look like pull-down menus is somewhat frustrating when i'm hovering over them and things happen when i don't expect them to, and when i try clicking the arrow, nothing happens anyway. maybe you call the dhtml from the active state instead of the hover state it might be more user-friendly?

couple things
once you are in the photo area, its kinda tough to really see the photos completely because the hot spots that links up next and prev arrows put a transparancy that takes away from the image.
why not put the photo nav and descriptions in that dark area on the right?
i mean i appreciate the effect, but the site is all about your photos my man. dont muddy em up with teh wiz bang!

Thats a powerful URL name you have: http://www.hongkongphotography.c… If I came across that URL I wouldn't expect to see a personl site of some ones candids. I'd move on thinking, "This isn't what I'm looking for." I would expect the best with a URL like that.
Sorry to disappoint/offend you. Am I saying I'm better? No. I think I got tricked into the URL name. Seriously, if it was www.jevad.com/honkkong... then I wouldn't even question it.
