i'm working on a project and am trying to find some of those little screws that you can use to bind a booklet - its basically two flat head screws that go into eachother to hold the pages. i don't know what they're officially called and can't find them to buy, but have seen them on a lot of print samples.

i am searchign for chicago screws and am finding the ones that have the post. these are like that, but the female end is just a threaded washer basically. they have a much lower profile.

seff... if you can ask your print rep, that'd be awesome. i have our print account manager asking around but she's kind of dense.

thought you were talking about something like this

yeah the screwposts, but with no post involved.. these are much tighter for low page counts.
the client was really into the grommets, but wanted somehing they could assemble and switch out case studies to tailor their brochure to specific clients.

thanks for the sites everyone... it ends up we're going to use some pretty thick plastic for the cover, so i'll be using the 1/8" or 1/4" posts....

Just found this one today and thought I'd share. Sometimes the links are so obvious it hurts. They have plastic, silver, gold, black in all sizes.
