We are contracting a job that will have the complete splash page in flash and XML.

yup, there is a lot of people that sill request splash pages and intros. I get a request for one at least once a month.
You have to remember that there is a lot of people out there besides NT. Althought a lot of people from the design industry hate the flash intros and splash pages there are normal people out there that still loves them.
Programmer = hate flash
Designer = hate intros/ splash
None above = loves flashJust look at the AQUENT Advertisement to the left, it might not look like a full flash splash page. but it can good qualify for one.
