OK, my brother just called me. His fiance lives off of Tabasco Sauce. She puts it on everything. Everything.
So he said "You near a computer?"
"Of course I am, you moron."
"OK, Did you know Tabasco sauce comes from a little island in Lousiana - called Avery Isalnd."
"No, I didn't"
"Oh. Can you look it up on the internet to see if the island is OK? I mean is there a map or something? Is Tabasco sauce going to get really expensive? Do we need to stock up?"
"Bro, get a life."
But for the record, Tabasco's website is down due to the hurricane...

the one that comes from avery island is mcilhenney's. now, while some people have very strong feelings on the subject, i, for one, believe that mcilhenney's tabasco sauce is virtually indistinguishable from any other brand of tabasco sauce. they should have no problem finding a replacement condiment. weirdos.
