I work in a Architecture office and we have seem to be have alot of issues printing to color lately. We have been looking into a couple differenct options and i had two quesitons.
1) does it work and is it worth the investment?
2) What other options are there? We have been looking at systmes from
Grategmacbeth: Eye-One Design

X-Rite: MonocoEZColor

Anyone have any input? Is color Management software/hardware worth it?

worked with that. had the same on the screen that came from the printer. it's a science of it's own.

It's not hard...it just takes a lot of time to figure out what is causing your problems.
With only one laser color printer in my office, we have gone round and round and round trying to get better color.
It's either the toner, or the printing mechanism, or the color calibration, or Adobe, or the paper being used, etc.It just sucks that it's really tough to pinpoint the problem sometimes.

or Adobe....that sounds like something my friends in marketing the marketing or sales dept would say. Do you mean Photoshop or Illustrator or InDesign specifically?
But thats besides the point...what kind of printer are you using and with what computer(s).
