this morning i awaken and realize that my alarm has failed to go off. i get out of bed, look at the clock and, sure enough, it's 6:00... 30 mins. later than i should have gotten up.
i rush to the bathroom and get through the hygiene portion of my routine in record time.
back in the bedroom i'm pulling on my pants and i glance back to the clock to see how much time has elapsed and it reads 12:00.
so there i am at midnight, half dressed and half wishing i could just get the day started, but only a crazy person shows up for work 5-1/2 hours early.
of course, that did explain why i was so damn tired. apparently my body requires more that 45 mins. sleep per night.

no clue. it must've been what i expected to see, so that's what i saw. that's my best guess.
you know how you wake up early and you're all, "cool! i can sleep X more"?
well i was just pissed.

When I used to work in the pubs I more often than not got pissed every night. Anyway - I have a 12 noon shift and wake up and look at the (analog) watch. It's 12 noon. I pick up the phone and ring the landlady... sorry but the bar ain't open cos I'm still in bed. She then gets shirty with me because it's 6am, not 12pm.
