Are they more power consuming than smaller ones?

holy.. i have 4 sets.
the ones the pod came with = average at best, foam gets crusty, dont stay in without the foam very well. blew one side and apple replaced. still in packaging.the apple in ear = better than above, but needed to be replaced after one side crapped out. using these with remote, no problems, but they never quite sit right in the ear.. they need to be less smooth so for those of us with clean ears, they'll stay in.
sony in ears that stimuli spoke of [in ipod wihite] harder to find, sound great, but the wire is like dental floss as stimuli also said. also blew one side of these...[starting to think i'm bad wth headphones...] these stay in pretty well.. sound pretty great for the price, but the behind the head thing is fucked cause they always tangle while stored.
fullsize sony MDR-150 [or something like that].. by far the best, warm ears in winter, great for noise cancelling and full headpounding sound... not always the easiest to store on the road.. but fullsize headphones are always the best...

I have sennheisers that I use when I'm on the dex... Sensational sound quality. And I love that every single last piece of them is replaceable.
Don't you find they squeeze your head a bit though?
Maybe I just have a noggin of massive proportions.... *shrug*

Get some shure monitors..they're awesome. a little expensive but they have a really hot fitting system - the foam covers are the best but they come in the box. if you can afford it get the 4's - just make sure your mp3 are nice.
safe, blud.
