i'd hit it

someone with a domain gitonit then, with pronto action.
- horton0
yes it would be a lot of logistics to set up.
i was just throwing out the idea to guage response... all on a whim really. not claiming to have a book ready to go in the post, and probably not prepared to take on the task solo.
i'm actually surprised it hadn't been discussed already.

ok, well. horton, you get to buy the book and make the initial drawings and then send it to me. people can sign up for the NT blackbook by send me and email with a subject of "NT BLACKBOOK" and i'll make a site of it. ok?
- spongebob0
that's cool. I'll join if the book hits 50 pages haha
- rockonski0
we could do sign ups in batches of 10 people at a time or something?
- horton0
aiight - can do that.
i live remote so you just gotta give me a week/ 10 days or so to get a fresh book over here.
will prolly go with a thick 8.5 x 11.
- rockonski0
sweet! coincidentally i have to go to the post office, be back soon.

so the question here is what happens to the finished books
i suppose the completely fair solution would be that each person submits a blank book and then gets it at the end
- i_monk0
that could get out of control fast, but I don't know another solution.

closed NT auction at the end (participants only?).. money goes to winning bidder's charity of choice.

(Aug 29 05, 13:29)maybe, or perhaps it goes into the QBN physical archives? or we just auction it on ebay? with the same premise as above?
- blackspade0
nice idea
- jevad0
yes - a nice idea - but much like the tshirts that everyone wanted - this is destined never to happen. I guess QBN don't want any NT merchandise floating around....
- horton0
but this is not merchandise for sale.. consider it a Photoshop battle on paper.
the auction at the end is just one solution to find a home for the book.
the Tsunami book was ok, NT Print Exchange ok.. sorry i don't see any reason why a Blackbook in rotation amoungst members would be a problem.

It's a good idea.
- k770
it's a great idea, and will be a greater project.

definitely sign me up on this one.
i used to do this when i was writing heavily, but that has kind of subsided (one book is currently lost at sea after going out to potna.cbs)...
- jevad0
ah i see what you mean
