I want to hear from a lot of you about how you came upon the actual name of your business...
What's the name and where did it come from?

rockonski is a perversion of my polish roots and the well known idiom: rock on!
it's easy to spell, has 2 o's and i though it's kinda memorable. i ran it by a wack of people and they thought it was cool so i registered it. cheers,

Sometimes I look at a directory of design firms, and mix & match the names.

scattergoods studio...
where i live now, and have lived for the past 17 or so years, there used to be an old estate. it burned down.
when the new house was built, the owners called the property 'scattergoods' because of all the old crap that was buried in the soil. like bottles and lawnmowers and things like that, in the woods.
so i set up scattergoods studio.

My last name is Wetter (i got hell from it growing up) and I wanted to have something design related in the name.
It took a cpl brain storming sessions to come up with Wetter Ink. It works on a couple levels. Ink...being what we use to have our designs printed. Also, it kind of plays on the fluid nature of Flash.An overlooked problem is when I am telling people my name over the phone they think Wetter INC. at first. After I spell it out they either do not get it at all or they think it is really clever.
Speaking of my name...my wife's maiden name is Beaver. So, in the paper it read 'Wetter Beaver Wedding"

I got my business name, Urine Sample, off the town i used to live in - Sample. And whenever I returned home, I would read "You're in Sample".
