Pfft, ignore the design school hipster bandwagon-jumpers trying to keep it real and start at http://www.dafont.com
ps; most of them really are awful though.
- skelly0
keep it real?
try: keep it not ugly.
don't use graffiti fonts. they're practically an oxymoron.

thanks guys, I know they are uggos. My client loves this logo/typeface http://www.djspooky.com/index2.h… and is adiment that I follow it's direction. He talked about using a graffiti style typeface.
I'm totally not liking this project. I don't see eye to eye with them, but might be meeting up with them to do phase 2 design. i wonder if there are ways I can change there minds?
thanks

is it just one word/logo you need the letters for? or lots of text?
at least something like the dj spooky logo is a lilttle more grounded.

scott you have no clue

"design school hipster bandwagon-jumpers"
isn't that exactly what these fonts qualify as?
- blackspade0
yea, dumb thing to say

I know, i'm only doing what i'm being told.
I'm not sure if I should get anyone else involved, as i signed this confidentality agreement. I could get sued.
Thanks for offering, it's much appreciated. I guess i should look for a font similar to dj spooky font.

Everyone is right. There are no respectable graffiti fonts. Not until someone truly utilizes the ligs and contextual alts of OpenType will there be a font that looks anything like real graffiti.
So going for an "urban" look, seems more realistic here. First designer that comes to mind is Donald Beekman.
