I watched a special on this. He gets mauled bigtime. They have audio of it. The lens cap was on when he got attached. When the guy came in to find him in a plane he saw a bear eating a torso with the rib cage cracked opened.

"Grizzly Man" is the most interesting movie I've seen all year. Instead of speculating about it on NT, just go see the damn thing.

I saw a news special on this guy. They hinted at mental problems but more than that, he was obsessed with his own image. Many of the clips he is talking about the bear(s) but he is center jockeying for center camera. The bears probably got sick of him stealing the show... Bears and acting don't mix.
