Just built a new PC, first time, so obvisouly i've got trouble already.
Installed XP, running sweet no probs, then installed graphics drivers, rebooted and *zap*.
The damn thing turns off when its booting, any ideas why???
All i can think is perhaps I should of installed the drivers for the mother board first but just need some confirmation of my jublyness.

Can you start in safe mode? Sounds like you installed the wrong drivers, did you get them off the CD that came with the card?
And as far as I know (I'm no pro at all but I've probably built 6 or 7 computers) there's no particular order you have to install the drivers in, Windows should supply with basic standard drivers for your cards until you feed it with the specific ones.

Can't even start in safe mode Jox.
I had NOT installed the motherboard drivers tho...
I think I'll reinstall XP tomorrow.

Do you have a rescue CD? If not, try booting from the XP CD.
