Hi!
I'm moving to London in 2 weeks!
I'm really excited and scared at the same time! This past few months have been a rollercoster emotionally, but now I'm sure that I have to give it a try!
Anyone with similar experiences?
What's the best way to get a job, just to pay for the rent?
Any input is welcomed!

go to Soho with a big jar of vaseline and your shirt hanging out, you should do ok for job offers.

can i use KY instead?
i don't like the taste of vaseline....

obsolete, uhmm... isn't it better to first make sure you got a job and then move?
i mean, a little bird once told me that London is a lil pricey..

I moved to Dublin 3 weeks ago. So far I haven't regreted it for one second. Everything just goes smoooothly.. especially local beer. No KY needed so far.

Crowel
yes i know its pricey, but at the moment I really need this change in my life.
I'm staying in a friends house, so that will help for the first few weeks...
I know it's hard to find a job, but I'll be looking for any kind of job as long as it keeps the rent paid, and then go from there...
It's like a now or never kind of situation...

you might be in time for the BD4D event on the 8th Sept. good place to hang with other creative folk, might get a heads up on some work from there too

doesnotexist:
I don't need a visa... I'm a EU citizen... I can work anywhere within the EU.

being from PT he probably might be eliglible for unemployment benefits, so it looks like a pretty safe adventure ;)

"got tired of Poland?"
I had felt like a tourist in my own country for years, it was time to go.
Mickey Carver's adventurous stories from Ireland were always breathtaking, so the choice was easy ;)Daft, eh?
