i make a frameset with two frames
load a local html page into one frame and a page from another website into the other frame
can i apply my own stylesheet to the other website's page inside my frameset?

this must be possible with some kinda document heirarchy thing.
anyone know how?

dont use frames.

that's not an option in this particular case.
anyone else have any idea about loading a remote website's page into your frameset and putting your own css stylesheet on it?

include the css link at the top of the page to be loaded into the frame. that way you can have individual links for each frame

I dont know if this will help, but if you're using a asp/asp.net you can use microsofts XMLHTTP to get the html code from another website; then find and remove their stylesheet and replace it with yours...
Here's a quick thing i did awhile ago in asp....
