Impact Sucks! Am I alone?

Am I the only one who thinks that impact is a crappy ass font and that when given the option there are dozens of other fonts that would work SO much better?

I think every font has a purpose (except for whatever the font equivalent of a mosquito is). Impact has just been used really horribly in everything I have seen. I'm leaning towards...the same way I feel about Comic Sans. The font is pretty bad.

Yeah I guess but I just think that there are so many more quality typefaces out there that aren't as poorly designed and overused as impact. That font makes me cry.

Check out the people who have chosen fonts such as 'Impact' to describe themselves. Horrible font.
Also, Fontshop is actually selling the font for $22. I would just beg people to take the font away from me.

what would really suck is if your boss used impact all the time and talked to you about typography and told you what fonts you should and shouldn't use.
