just applied for a position in New Haven, CT. anyone ever work there? is it just as bad to work there as it is to have someone help you print?

It's comforting to know that someone who actually knows what they are doing is applying to kinkos,,,,finally.

The people who work there seem to be completely miserable. There's no other possible explanation for why the service is so appalling.

I worked for Kinkos for like, 3 or 4 years. I always gave special treatment to people who brought in Quark files and shit that was good. I guess after a while, it's easy not to care about random stuff.
I come into the one by my house every now and then and it drives me nuts how bad they suck.
Pay was okay. I was making 12 an hour, which was decent for Kinkos.

I don't recommend working there. I did it for 3-4 years a while back and it was bad back then, but now that they're owned by Fedex they suck even worse. One of my friends that is still working there (God knows why) just got his raise a few weeks ago and he was pissed - 12 cent raise. Can anyone say bullshit?

If you can/want, get the late shift. Not much action and you can print off all your own shit.
A buddy of mine worked the graveyard shift. I'd take all my stuff there and get it printed for free. Half the time the doorbell sound would wake him up when I came in.

if you need some print production experience it really is not that bad.
Just say to yourself everyday: "Because one day I will leave this shit job and be grateful, every single day to work somewhere else."
At least thats what helped me.
