i'm sure vice moved there because of cheap rent, but how ironic. vice is all about an ironic white trash vibe, at least in ny.

I found out last night, Vice has moved to Queen West in fucking Parkdale. That's west of Dufferin, where the poor people live until gentrification drives them off.

thanks everyone for your suggestions. while i can find some of that stuff in nyc, there seems to be more shops that carry the stuff i like, instead of the boutiques here that are spread throughout the city and overpriced.

Public has some cool stuff too, picked up a bunch of commonwealth stacks tshirts and stuff there, its just on queen, west of magic pony a few blocks beside the Japanese Paper Place (not fashion but also an awesome store).

Vice on Queen no more
its gone
yeah come to Nomad and Goodfoot and yell really loud and i will pop my head out

sorry no silas or perks in toronto. the closest thing is Uncle Otis in yorkville for maharishi , stussy and select Vans. Delphic is good for Karen Walker & similar brands. Magic Pony has cool Geoff McFetridge and Marcel dzama tshirts. Vice is gone as is the japanese store near McCaul. Noise is generally for teen skaters and not fashion hunters. kensington is good for vintage if you've got the knack for hunting.

you can try noise on queen, they should have some you mentioned. There is also this japanese store on McCaul street. i forgot the name, but it's along queen close to Noise which is 3 blocks west of University. That store is japanese own. they have really cool gadgets and clothes and accesories too. They have one in Hazelton Lanes in Yorkville. While you're there also check out TnT, they have nice stuff.

Ive heard its pretty darn good, although i didnt have a chance to shop while there. montreal on the other hand was quite fulfilling, and empty pocketing at the same time.

actually, i'm a she but some of those stores sound hot. i'm looking for niche street brands/stuff from japan/uk labels:brands like silas, perks and mini, stussy, x-girl, ppq, karen walker, faline, even some of those tech labels like tphs, geek boutique, kitchen orange....that stuff i know i can find in toronto.

NOMAD richmond and spadina.. rare shit.
GOODFOOT richmond and spadina
rare kicks.
- piperboytoy0
also depends what type of clothes he's looking for too, there are high end designer labels and obscure street wear and casual stuff.

I sell you my seester for 10 dolla...
- i_monk0
Vice isn't on Queen anymore, I don't think they have a store in Toronto currently.
- i_monk0
How about places in Toronto where you can buy clothing and shoes not stitched together with the stumpy fingers of Asian factory slave children?
Other than American Apparel.

start at queen/univ and walk west till u hit delphic, then hit up magic pony across the street
kesington is good too
that's basically all i know
- piperboytoy0
also uncle otis, but they sell mostly fresh jive and stussy stuff.
and Vice on queen has ok stuff too.
Over the Rainbow in Yorkville has nice variety.
Boomer on queen street west has nice upscale men's designer stuff. more formal stuff.
Also there is this store called Great stuff on Queen west. it's next to liberty park. it has lots of menswear at sample prices. you might have to dig, but everything is new and not used.
