What's the best file format/compression techniques to use in Flash to achieve good quality images with a reasonable file size?

PNG 24 out of Photoshop then set JPEG compression in Flash to 60-70.

If you don't have to be too exact, save as png's and then compress in flash.
If you are doing exact k size work (banners etc) it is sometimes best to compress in image ready first as you can get more precise file sizes.

Save for web in photoshop works pretty well.

so gross when girls of any size wear jeans that are two sizes too small and all the fat around their waist sqeezes out the top.
it even happens to skinny girls!
come on girls, get some pants that fit!

yeah, png file format. that always does it for me.
but if the image is big, i'd load them dynamic and not put in the flash file.
