are you talking CSI: what?
Miami, LV, NY?my fav is LV. NY sucks. Miami is kinda fun, because david caruso talks funny.

maimi sucks. caruso can't say one damn important thing without first putting on his fucking sunglasses while indoors.
scene: caruso finds body in home
coroner: it looks like she was gunned down heracio.
caruso: *puts on sunglasses. 'now we'll gun HIM down.'
coroner: heracio you're indoors and it's night out.
caruso: *takes off sunglasses. puts them back on. 'i know'
WTF!

I agree, Miami is the worst one. Plus, I don't understand places that look like that, possibly because I live in Ottawa, Canada.
Anyway, I love CSI:NY, but I don't watch it religiously or anything. CSI is alright too but I'm way too behind on the characters and stuff. I don't really have time to catch up on all the seasons, whereas NY just started a year ago. So it was easy for me to like that one.

kOna's got CSI:MI on the nose.
I stopped watching CSI:NY after the second episode, when they used a Star Trek tricorder to track down a rat that swallowed a bullet.
CSI:NV keeps getting better. I don't like Tarantino, but loved his episode, that's how good the original series and characters are.

god csi sucks im just gonna laugh at all the college grads. who major was based on CSI and then realize what dumb shit they did. lol
- Jaline0
What? Forensic science is where I'd be if I was smart enough and could tolerate the chemistry (one of my least fave subjects). But I love science and majoring in pretty much anything like that is awesome. Or I could just be the photographer for the dead bodies :)
Also, i_monk, did you mean that CSI:Miami had the Star Trek thing? Because your post doesn't entirely make sense.
- Jaline0
oh nevermind. You meant CSI Las Vegas/Nevada vs. CSI New York.
I agree that CSI is probably the best one out of the three, but it's hard for people to watch it and understand it fully without watching it right from the beginning. It was just easier for me to start watching CSI:NY. I love the characters in that one. Anyway, I also watch CSI occasionally.

yah but alot of ppl think its all easy quick future technology as csi. its quite different with alot of tedious work and cases def. wont be solved in an hour. make a lot of those ppl mad.
- Jaline0
That's true. People need to understand that everything on TV isn't real...yet anyway.
- Jaline0
I mean, there are lots of realistic things on television and so many things you can relate to. You can feel what the characters are feeling, etc., but not everything is real, as I'm sure you know.

most dna tests take weeks if not months.
you only have one hour to solve a case on tv genious, of course things are sped up. do you honestly think jessie could have solved all the family problems in 'full house' in under 30 minutes not even taking into consideration commercial time? do you? i think not.
but it is true, morons in real life are now pissed cause they think dna and blood tests take only minutes to do when in fact, the dna labs are a couple hundred thousand tests behind schedule. things take months now.

WRONG THREAD
- i_monk0
I wonder if they could do a season where they only handle two or three cases for the entire period, showing how it takes weeks for evidence to develop, suspects to get fingered, et cetera.

in the last csi maimi episode that i reluctantly watched heratio was hot on the trail of a woman pilot.
he goes to the womans house only to hear the engine of the plane in the background. uh oh he thinks, she's escaping on the plane. so he hops in his h2 which does 0-60 in 10.2 seconds actually somehow catches up to her plane which is in the process of taking off. now i'm not positive but i'm sure a cesna's takeoff speed is in the hundred mph range.
so how the fuck did he catch up? i changed the channel with a quickness.

In fiction, vehicles travel at the speed of plot.
