I remember reading an article with stereolab and bob moog, tim gane told him that they run their whole band through the input filter on one of their synths, he said something like - holy shit, doesnt that sound like crap? tim replied, thats our sound. god bless bob moog, music wouldnt be the same without him.

wow, a source. those babies have some juicy bass synth sounds for such a small synth. the monophonic thing never did it for me long term as i already had a whack of mono synths clogging up room. the yamaha cs-01 was nice for mono sounds.

yeh, that thing howled like a wolf getting fucked by a grizzly... indeed mono, my old fav was a korg trident for polyphony, and is still have a yamaha Sk 30. i can't remember another synth I wanted as much as the memory moog. good keepin's :-)
