whoops... two more things to add...
add with all the other param tags and in the embed tag add this attribute
salign="lt"
that does it... tried with your files.
- cram0
one tag got left out...
param name="salign" value="lt"
but put the tag brackets around it... just like the other param tags
post your email and i will send it to you if you want...

cram,
this doesn't seem to do anything? is this supposed to align to the top and crop only the bottom?
- version30
none of that is necessary
the movies will all top left align, not center
as long as your footer is all that needs removed just make the shell movie howeve much smaller it needs to be
- cram0
yea, aligns to the top and crops the bottom... that is what you wanted, huh?
- tileeater0
there's other problems, many other problems. this isn't going very well.
this is not the proper way of doing things... i give up.
cram, that did work though finally thanks.
- version30
use my frame crop then, tell us what are you working on maybe then we could help you the right way

what's wrong with loading it into a movieclip and then masking it?
- cram0
didn't work or wasn't what you wanted. it does work my way...
view source. what are the other problems? you could always get actionscript viewer and recreate the fla... www.buraks.com

yea dude. It's hard to figure out what's going on without seeing it.

movie 1 (400x200) is calling in movie 2 (400x240) as seen here:
http://pixeltwins.com/online/nt/…but when encoded you see that movie 2 (400x240) gets hidden

i suppose that my solution relies on the fact that it is the sole swf on the page. if you are loading it into another swf, you will have to load it into a movie clip and mask it, like someone else has suggested. good luck, you can do it.
- version30
no need for masking
- dbloc0
you lost me dude. I'm not sure you understand what's goin on.
- dbloc0
maybe I'm lost...carry on.

sorry guys, just frustrated... i've been dealing with this for 50 hours straight with little sleep... the client is launching a national campaign and little do they know that we lost the source FLA, hard to explain... we need to change a simple phone number that appears HUGE in the footer, the number is incorrect so, what seems like a small deal is a big deal. low and behold it seems like i found a workaround with CRAMs suggestion.
- version30
we solved his problem several times over in numerous ways, if he can't make it work from here it's not our fault by any means
- tileeater0
a lot of the content is driven from a database from CMS that is also no longer supported, this has been a disaster. forgive me but, a fucking disaster.
seems like this is going to work though. thank god. thank CRAM.
