I'm a junior attending university in NYC (SVA). I'm not sure which direction to head in Broadcast Design or Print, can anyone help?

Broadcast Design if I were you

it depends on you.
do you like printed stuff? do you get more inspired by stuff on tv more than stuff you've seen in design bookshops?
Are you willing to get down and dirty after you graduate with the ins-and-outs of pre-press?
Print takes longer generally and you'll be working in layout programs like quark or indesign, wrestling with making pdfs and agonising over printer's proofs and pantone swatches.
TV is a lot more easier, but the risks are more higher and the pressure is greater to deliver. First company I worked for in broadcast didn't take any job on under £16,000 and we lived like kings. I got sick of it (no regrets) and went into print which i love and also hate.
If anything, get into print first and then progress into broadcast.
good luck and never lose sight of your goals.

I can't afford to hire hoors to do my finishing. You could easily get a couple of decent blowjobs with the amount they enjoy charging each hour. oh hold on, not that kind of hoor?
anyway I also like to finish what I start.
