one whao says "I want to hire a professional, smart, talented, and technically savvy designer to put together some straight bomb-ass-pimp-shit for my website, blog, podcast, and promotional materials. You must be able to work fast and build sticky, technically solid, interactive websites. Your designs need to be fresh, consistent, and fearless in their approach. When I see your finished product I don't want to say, "Wow, that's cool". I want to say, "Fuck yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about! If you can deliver what I want, I will love you, pay you and give you a screen credit on my documentary."

Carlsberg don't do clients, but if we did we'd probably be very rich and would say yes to all your decisions and never say no to any expensive print finishes. We'd enjoy covering any expenses you might incur no matter how ludicrous (although young Brazilian transexuals are generally a no-no).

We are just finishing off a film site for Terry Gilliam, through Hanway films. Ace client. Best i've had. Gave us a lot of creative freedom and loads of source material. Saw the site as an important part of the film and made sure we got what we needed.
As for future dream clients...
Anybody that isn't afraid to do something a little/lot different.

i do a lot of work for atari, sony, universal, paramount, etc on film and video games, but incidentally my favorite client has always been myself
i love finessing my identity, creating promo items, etc
most challenging though...

That sounds a fantastic brief skt. Is the siteup yet? It'll be interesting to see what you produced.
i once did a site for a band who just gave me two style pointers as a brief and one was gillingham. The other was Sandman comics.
it's a bit old now but this is what I produced (this was my first real bit of web design):

It will be up by the end of the month wolfboy. I will post it on NT when it is. I'm quite proud of it, although it is quite hard to 'see' it now. If that makes any sense.

museums and galleries can ba a real pain though.. with their 'i ve got an opinion on everything and that type is not so nice ..'.. sometimes the people paying you are not the one that should take the decisions .. and sometimes they are bored with their own job so they act like kids in a big art supermarket and get confused between your own work and the work in the gallery, museum etc..
best client so far for me are clubs and bars.. they really alow you to show some diversity and not to follow the 'usual' trend.. and they let you in for free + free drinks !

I'm in a the creative department at Carlsons down in Putney. It seems like it's gonna be good here, good atmosphere and pretty varied client list (all below the line stuff so I get to work on alsorts of different briefs and accounts)
