Most PCs should run notepad...

you could use windows 95 to do code.

honestly.. make one.. or find someone that will put one together for you..
get around 2.5 Ghz processor with 1 Gb of Dual DDR Ram, at least 700Mhz FSB on the motherboard, an ATI 9800 Pro for the video card and you should be set to go..
unless you are looking for more of a package deal.. but that right there will run you around 500 max if you buy all the parts seperately on ebay or something..

It's pretty dumb to buy anything for the sake of vanity...
So naturally it makes sense to buy a PC.
:D J/K, Oh, I love this kind of hot button issue.

Hmm...sounds like building the PC would be a better option. I really dont like the packages they have like dell and sony. I currently use MAC, but i need a windows to test my stuff out and maybe even do some coding...
thanks

Since you own a Mac already, why not just install Virtual PC (or as many flavors of Windows as you want) so you have one machine that you can test several operating systems and browsers on?

Agree with mrdobolina.
It's really fun, you learn new things, and it's like taking care of a car - you should know what's under the hood and how to take care of it.
You put all the pieces together, crank it up, and when it works right off the bat, it's exciting.
Trust me, you'll be a sixer afterwards and pat yourself on the back.
