I have been surfing and a 15ft shark swam by very slowly, very, very close.. I could just see a nose, a dorsal find, and a tail fin above the water.
ok so it was a basking shark and they only eat plankton but dude these things have big mouths.
I was very brave and mumsy said I was so too.
the strange thing is, when I got onto shore, apparently the beast was at least 50ft long with blooded fangs!!!
