I can't remember the goddamn name.
It features horsement of the apocalypse riding around in a red and black horizon of dead bodies and emaciated hell-hounds. I'm guessing it was done between 1600 - 1850.
Any clues / links?

no, that damn apple .mov file from the other thread totally slugged my browser for a minute
thanks, but that's not the one
the one i'm thinking of is definitely a color painting -- rennaissance-ish (wish i knew my art history better)

bosch is a madman. Seriously what drugs was he taking back then? I wants some.

So which is it Durer or Bosch?
I went to the Biltmore Estate last year and there was an entire wall of original Durer prints. I've never wanted to steal something so much in my entire life.

durer's prints are amazing

i honestly don't think bosch ever painted the four horsemen. he would've had them riding chickens and rats or something.
it's hard to find this stuff...it's mostly on altarpieces and then usually just occupies some wee corner.
