My side hustle is painting and I do pretty good at it.

I'm sure this isn't what you do but i've always been tempted to get some ghetto canvases at pearl and make bs art and flip it on ebay. but i feel like that's pretty low...approaching it with no integrity and all.

what about online advertising.
i'm working to ramp up my little side project here so it becomes something worth having some banner ads on.

i'm a long ways off from that day though.

i know i know but its like these threadless shirts. put as much time into a painting and flip it as "art". you know what? i'm starting to hate what i'm saying so i'll stop.

threadless gives you $400 and $100 store credit for a winning design.

(Aug 15 05, 12:22)weird.. i could have sworn olympic said he only got 10 shirts.. maybe it had changed since then

with the buttons, it depends... sometimes i'll get like $15 for a set or 3 or 4 that cost me about a quarter to make... so its pretty lucrative in that sense.
i also press them for a ton of bands and other companies.. a little less on the profit margin, but still easy cash

thought this thread was about me... *so self-centered i am.
*not really
- MLP0

I do probaly 1-2 websites a month either for cash or barter, and I have a 36 page newsletter I do every month on top of my 9-5.
I would rather have a little time to spend alot of money rather then alot of time to spend a little money.

so this istockphoto.. you get .20 per download? that doesn't seem very lucrative...

pimping seems quite popular. hell even successful hip hop artists do a little pimping on the side... at least that is what they would like us to believe.

so are there any other royalty free places with the same kind of deal as istockphoto where people can upload photos and illustrations for small royalties?
