The work on Superfamous is great, but I don't think the site is especially elegant. Multiple scrollbars are a bit of an eyesore.
Subdisc has a great feel, and unusually for a flash site, looks like it would cope with lots of extra content..
Really elegant.

it's a pretty subjective matter.
The one thing that I don't like about the subdisc site is the custom typeface and it being so predominent...

The nice thing about a html one pager is scroll wheel scrolling, otherwise a very nice postfolio

Snuggles...agree on the typeface thing... If he were to cut that out, and cut the header down it would be pretty perfect.
kld... Subdisc seems to work with the scroll wheel, although you have to click on the page each time to bring it into focus as it were.

I really like that Marcus is in to type design, especially for a predominently web based designer, it's rare. Just not feeling the face, seems out of place with the rest of the site...
Anyhow, that's all I can nit-pick about :)

umm, thanks wrong test... probably a safari thing. I'll try it in firefox.

ummm.. scroll wheel is buggy in firefox but maybe its a flash player 8 issue. tight work none the less.

kld - I would have thought the flash player works the same in any browser, but then perhaps not... I guess that could be a problem for him, but it's 99% there for me.
snuggles - I agree the face doesn't seem to fit really. It's hugely dominant as the 1st thing you see, also.

seems like there's some small differnces from browser to browser on occasion. Probably not a big issue for him
.eff it, macs aren't supposed to have scroll wheels anyway.

Yeh, I guess the bugs will be ironed out...
BTW Is it true Macs have only just got more than one mouse button, let alone a scroll wheel?
- kld0
they ship with a single button, but I bought a kensington with like five, never looked back.
- see the multitude of threads on the new mighty mouse, or not.

Yeh, I saw the new mighty mouse thing... Just wondered if most people use the 1 button version though. Worked in an all Mac office a year or 2 ago, and they did.
Is that the norm?
- kld0
can't really say, some will just use what they get with the computer. Alot of peple around here use a wacom pad. I didn't get a five button I bought a PowerBook for my wife and she was like whats up with the one button mouse?
anyways, don't want to derail this thread into a mouse discussion.

True kld...best not go off topic, but thanks for the feedback anyway, was interested to know.
The Subdisc site is fantastic of course. ;)
