Sepsis Death

Do you know anyone who has died from Sepsis? This morning my friends 4yr old boy was taken off life support after being airlifted to the hospital just yesterday. Docs couldn't figure it out but I think it was Sepsis. A freind just died a few months ago from the same thing..
My heart is breaking over and over today as I think of this couple who is on their way home right now to tell the other 4 brothers (10 and younger). Such confusion and dispair.

a moment of silence for your friends and their son, and everyone else facing difficult and tragic cicrcumstances.
Sepsis is like a wild fire run amok. my wife's aunt died of sepsis in a hospital a few years ago, and my mom had a close call in the spring--both perfectly healthy.

when you loose a child, does the agony ever go away or lessen with time. I can't imagine not crying every day over such loss.
