Needs more lens flare!!!!!

i cant believe i just heard that. the "art director" called from his vacation in the tropics and this is one of the things he said "so there is this effect in photoshop, you know, it gives you more organic light, like a flare? i think you should add that in .. i think its useful"

oi man. that's rough. how did he become the art director anyway ? I've been in that situation too.. but it was more, "shadows under text and logos" me: "you mean, dropshadows ??" him:"yeah, more dropshadows, gives it depth."
I barfed soon afterwards.

funny thing is, the boss (AD's partner) briefed me about this project earlier... this is his quote "so let me find the images that (AD) did long time ago... i think they will work well as inpirartion for the project, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!... i mean this stuff is just BRILLIANT"
he pulls out 6,7 images, STOCK PHOTOS, with... you guessed it. lens flare on each of the pics.
