the best (as up to date as Italy can be) reports.Been living out here for two years—world class riding. Amazing back country (off-piste)...

Ohhh no Cortina is over priced and it's always foggy and it's just full of rocks and ice and arrogant skiiers. I say you hit up Madonna di Campiglio, its one of the better resorts, it has a lot of terrain, it's attached to some other mtns. and there is a half decent night life. Try and look up Cervinia or Les Deux Alpes (it's a glacier) those are known for being good resorts too.
Good luck.

Livignio!
Can't believe I forgot about that place.. it's amazing!

I would have to drop Gressoney onto the list of good spots to hit. largely few crowds, and if there is fresh snow, as there often is, there is absolutely amazing off-piste.
Forget the pricey resorts. Stay up at a rifugio on the mountain... amazing food can be found and very low priced

hmm, i want go too! it's just such a pain to take my own board there, though.

you gonna hit CO up this year homboyeeee?
- gabriel20
hey jevad, what's a good place to hit up for some freeriding in CO around late march/early april? gonna probably be passing through on the way to MN
- jevad0
hey gabe - like the new site!
there are a few pretty sweet places
I'd reccommend loveland pass to start with:
http://www.couloirmag.com/articl…
And Berthoud Pass isn't far from there:

Let me know when you are gonna be passing through mate - I can also take you to some spots that I can't talk about for fear of death anywhere public!
; )

Sorry that was the wrong link for Loveland Pass - they are talking about teh ski area in that article.
This is about the backcountry you can get to:

It's well worth it. Plus if we meet up then we can have one car at the bottom and one at the top so we don't have to wait in 'line' for someone coming up the pass to give us a lift back up to the top.

goozebump - we have already done the cowbell thing to death here
