i cried during the credits and had nightmares for days. no movie has had such impact since the beauty and the beast in early 90's

I didn't actually cry for these, but almost did:
- At the end of AI, when the little kid is spending his last few moments with his mother, who is tired from the days' activities. (he gets to spend one whole day with her and that's it...it's a long story).
- Gattaca, because it was just a wonderful film about dreams.
- Emporte-moi (french film...the mother just made me sad because her life was...sad)
- Any movie that has to do with someone dying from a terminal illness. Actually, any illness, and they end up dying at the end.
There are certain actors and actresses who can make me cry at any time. But only a few.

but anything based on real life tragedies will make me bawl. Rabbit Proof Fence. Life is Beautiful. Gallipoli.

Yup, Jaz, Gattaca was sad at the end but also throughout the entire film! Like whenever the main dude (Vincent or whatever) spent time with the girl, or whenever he competed against his bro in swimming.
