this is a question to any of you who ride motorcycles. do you get the wave from other people riding motorcycles and scooters ? sort of a 45 degree peace sign. about 90 per cent of riders aroud here (victoria/vancouver)give the wave even across the freeway, or at least the nod. kind of like a secret club.

all the time. any biker who doesn't wave at another biker is usually a jerk.

i roll a kawasaki zx-6e...the sport touring version of the ninja!
it's also the same bike jessica alba rides in Dark Angel...heh...
I tend to flash the peace sign...but cruiser riders tick me off...they point at the GROUND!

i always get that on my bike .. like the d bag is my friend or something because i'm on a track bike.
i always get dudes trying to race me in my car too and its a piece

there's an older fellow i pass each day on my way to work and, first off... this dude rides in any weather that doesn't include snow.
i mean, days that you couldn't pay me to ride with my window open two inches due to the temperature he'll be out there on his bike.
anyway, on that stretch of highway it's four split lanes moving at 70-75 mph... no one worries about waving.
but this dude, he'll start way ahead of you so you have time to react and waves to every bike.
just seeing this guy, even if i'm driving my truck, puts a smile on my face.
